We’ve been writing articles on internet marketing
for about five years. Recently, we went through our list of articles,
and decided to remove most of the earlier ones. Why? Because the
internet changes so quickly, that what was current and true a couple of
years ago might be out-of-date, and even misleading, today.
For example, there was a time when reciprocal
linking (swapping links with a quality, relevant website) was considered
a perfectly acceptable component of a link building campaign. Today,
while reciprocal links may well have a limited role in some aspects of
internet marketing, you can hardly say they are a valid method of
general link building. So we yanked that old article, and so down the
line.
We have kept some articles that are more timeless in
their conclusions. We will try to update them as time permits. In the
meantime, what do you want to hear about? What kind of topics would you
like to see covered in this space? Send us an email and maybe we’ll be
able to do an article on it, if there seems to be sufficient interest.
